Shungit komt uit Rusland, nog specifieker uit de republiek Karelië, en is bekend als de beste steen tegen straling. Het is een helende steen met een unieke samenstelling. Hij kalmeert, geeft troost, is aardend, versterkt het immuunsysteem en absorbeert negatieve invloeden en elektromagnetische straling.
